B.S. in Engineering
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION : For individuals with some relevant experience in general, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or computer science/engineering. The engineering programs emphasize the understanding of fundamental engineering principles; facility with experimental, computational and analytical methods; development of skill in the creative process of engineering such as design; and the development of self confidence and versatility of mind that prepare the individual for a lifetime of learning and professional growth.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE : TWELVE (12) courses in the field of study – 48 Credits
General Education Courses - THIRTY SIX (36) of credits are required to be met within the sixty (60) credits transferred in at admission, or added to the Study Plan in lieu of some of the General and Major courses listed within each of the Baccalaureate Degree Programs here in. These will be nine (9) General Education courses in the fields of English, Humanities, Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. Total of – 36 credits American Business College will give credit for any of the General Education courses tested by CLEP for students having taken and earned the equivalent grade of C or higher. Taking of a CLEP test can be arranged on the following Website: Universityboard.com/student/testing/clep/about.html. This is a national program with CLEP centers throughout the United States.
