A.S. in Engineering
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Associate of Science in Engineering enables students to acquire engineering knowledge with a management focus. Students will gain and understanding of operations and project management, quality systems, management in a changing environment, decision making, and human resources management techniques that apply to engineering-related production, research and service organizations.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: To can help professionals train for a specific type of engineering career. Many technical positions in the field are open to those with an associate's degree.
CAREERS: Engineering Assistant, Mechanical Equipment, Mechanical-Engineering Technician, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Test Engineer, Central-Office Equipment Engineer, Electronics Technician.
Requirements: CREDITS Seven (7) General Education Courses = 28 Credits (with all Associate Degree programs of study)
General Education Courses include: CSC 100, College Success Course, PD 100, Professional Development, ECO 101, Economics, ENG 101, HIS 101, PSY 101- Psychology, SOC 101 – Sociology.
